THE POD
IMAGINE A WORLD WITHOUT VIOLENCE
The Pod is a science fiction thriller about a brilliant and idealistic physicist,
Dr. Clara Kinnon,
who invents an impenetrable shield.

She can offer safety and protection to every man, woman, and child.

Individuals can live without fear.
Imagine fighting fires from the inside.
Thrill seekers could experience body-surfing Niagara Falls or skydiving without a parachute.

The ideals expressed by the United Nations and peace lovers everywhere could be achieved—
NO MORE WAR.
Dr. Kinnon realizes that if some people are protected, the pod becomes a weapon against everyone else.
Conflict arises with those who wish to control her and her device. After all, governments, munitions companies, and others have much to gain or lose.

WHO GETS A POD? WHO DECIDES?

"My vision is simple. Everyone should have one."

Kent Dunwood, NSA Director, demands it to
“preserve national security,” but does not share her values.

Some religious leaders dissuade followers, “It’s unnatural.”
What are her options?
Fight to retain control?
Defer to political will?
Withdraw, leaving the world as it is?
What becomes of humanity if her vision is embraced?
