With Salt Spring being the size that it is many people have met Gary.

Maybe you’ve worked with him or played tennis together.  Maybe you just recognize him from a popular video promoting the island.  He may have introduced himself as Dorothy’s husband, Jen & Marcie's father or Poppa to Emma, Bassy and Remy.

 

What you may not know, although likely suspected, is that he is also a genius.  A Mensa member with a masters in Mathematics who moved to the island (from Ontario) after a successful career in technology, as an OG coder, business owner and entrepreneur.

 

His love of science, story telling and desire for non-violence resulted in a 30 year writing project that introduced our family to a variety of fictional characters, some rather unsavory, leading to deep conversations, great debates and a lot of laughter. 

 

We are so thrilled that he is ready to share his brilliant  story!
